Concrete Plant Manager

At EMR Murer & Entreprenør A/S we are seeking an experienced project manager (construction manager) to manage construction projects with in-house production in concrete work.

Responsibilities and areas of work

As a project manager you will be responsible for our in-house production on a number of exciting construction projects. You ensure progress, quality, economy and safety and become an important part of the collaboration between the construction site, project management, the client and advisors.

Your tasks include, among others

• Management of concrete contracts with responsibility for daily operations and planning.
• Coordination of staff and internal resources on the construction site.
• Follow-up on timelines, quality and finances.
• Planning of material deliveries and logistics.
• Quality assurance with support from EMR’s internal QA department including DS1140.
• Responsibility for safety on the site with support from EMR’s occupational safety organization.
• Contribute to a good and trusting collaboration with the client, advisors, subcontractors and other partners.

The position can be approached from several professional backgrounds. We would like you to have a background as a craftsperson, supplemented with an education as a building constructor, construction technologist or similar. The most important is however your experience with managing concrete contracts, your commitment and your collaboration skills.

Area of work

EMR carries out projects all over Denmark in both trade, main and turnkey contracts. You will therefore be part of the construction management on EMR’s own projects with responsibility for the concrete contract, just as you will lead independent trade contracts for external clients and partners.

The size and complexity of the contracts typically ranges from 5 to 80 million DKK, which provides opportunities for both professional and managerial challenges as well as a varied everyday life.
