About the job
Would you like to take on the responsibility for contract management and help develop a professional contract management function in the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration? Then you might be our new contract manager.
We offer you the opportunity to help build and further develop the Danish Veterinary and Food Administration's contract management function. This includes, among other things, advising colleagues on contractual questions, engaging in dialogue with suppliers, controlling, etc.
About the job
You will have good colleagues in the form of procurement consultants, purchasers and lawyers who you can brainstorm with on everything from procurement law to contract-law questions in daily operations. It is therefore not a prerequisite for success in the job that you are trained as a lawyer. You may, for example, have acquired relevant competencies through another professional background or experience with contract management, procurement or similar tasks. You will conduct independent analyses and not least contribute to developing the ways in which we conduct contract management.
The job as contract manager covers a wide range of tasks, where you use your knowledge of contract management and procurement. You will work with contract tasks of varying complexity, from daily operational tasks to more advanced contract-law issues, in collaboration with the section's procurement lawyers.

In daily work you report to our section head for the Procurement Section, Simon, and you have a close coordinating collaboration.
