Tender Manager

DELPRO A/S is a service and contracting company with a specialty in high-voltage installations and is thus a very important piece in the future sustainable society. DELPRO was founded in 2000 and has about 250 employees attached to six locations in Denmark and abroad. Especially in recent years there has been strong growth with many new hires and new business areas in Denmark and abroad. If you are interested in helping shape the infrastructure of the future in Denmark, we are now seeking:

Tender Manager as the one who creates an overview and quickly secures bid data

As Tender Manager you will be a key person in DELPRO's bid and project organization and will be responsible for managing and coordinating the bid process from the tender to the submitted bid. You ensure that the bids are well-developed, competitive, and technically and commercially robust. You report to the CSO and have a broad interface with customers, technicians, project managers, suppliers and subcontractors. The projects include high-voltage cables, substations, earthing cables, distribution lines and larger energy infrastructure developments across Denmark.

In daily work you perform go/no-go assessments of tenders, analyze tender material, tender conditions and contract basis, and consult broadly within the organization. You handle risk assessment and commercial quality assurance of bids, solicit and evaluate supplier and subcontractor bids, and have dialogue with sales and customers about clarifications and negotiations in the bid phase. Won projects you hand over in a structured manner to the project management, and you contribute to standardization and development of Best Practice, processes and tools in the bids department.

Your profile

We expect that you have experience from bid work, calculations and/or project management within energy, high voltage or construction. The most important is, however, that you can create an overview and direction for the bid team while also keeping track of the details.

In connection with the selection, we will particularly weigh

• Experience as Tender Manager, bid leader, estimator, bids engineer or project manager
• Good insight into energy, high voltage or construction, preferably combined with practical field experience
• Insight into high-voltage cables (60–400 kV), cable and jointing work, transformer stations and switching installations as well as earthworks and trenching contracts
• Relevant insight into construction contracts and tender conditions and preferably AB18
• Experience in leading and coordinating bid processes across disciplines
• Good analytical abilities, business understanding and ability to quickly see the detail
• Experience with Kalkia, Excel or similar calculation tools
• A structured approach and the ability to collaborate across disciplines
• Thrives in collaboration and has good communication skills.
