About the job
Are you good at tying things together, creating an overview in a busy everyday life and getting people, tasks and resources to hang together? And would you like to use your skills in a place where your effort can be felt – by citizens, relatives, colleagues and management? Then you could be one of the coordinators we are looking for for home- and nursing care in Haderslev Municipality.
We are in the middle of an exciting development, where we are expanding the number of districts and strengthening the local organization close to citizens and employees. Therefore we are seeking six coordinators who want to be involved from the start and contribute to a daily life with good planning and coherence in the daily operations – based on Haderslev Municipality's organizational framework and the approach Valuable Everyday .
A key function in everyday life
As a coordinator you work closely with the district manager. You will have a central role in supporting the manager and the two multidisciplinary teams in the district with planning, coordination and practical overview, so you together can ensure our citizens the best possible help, care and welfare.
You will have a varied daily life, where you must consider the citizen's needs, the employees' competences and the many practical details that make the operation function.
Your tasks will include, among others, to
- contribute to an active and flexible use of resources so tasks are covered and redistributed as needed, including updating daily duty rosters and driving lists
- allocate tasks with regard to citizens' needs, employees' competences and the interprofessional collaboration
- have an overview of practical operating conditions such as cars, bicycles, clothing and telephones
- contribute to clear information between multidisciplinary teams, district manager, citizens and relatives
- cooperate with coordinator colleagues in neighbouring districts and assist during peak loads and absences.
In contact with citizens and relatives you help create safety and clarity. You contribute to handling inquiries, informing about changes in visits and ensuring that the citizen is involved and experiences self-determination in the decisions that concern the help. When reasonable for the citizen's pathway, you also contribute to the interaction with relatives, local communities and civil society.
We are looking for you who can create overview and good relationships
You thrive with responsibility and cooperation, and you have a natural ability to speak with people in a proper and appreciative way.
You have a relevant education – preferably a health care education or for example a health administrative coordinator, and you have in-depth knowledge of the senior area as well as knowledge of home care .
In addition we attach importance to that you
- have knowledge of planning and IT – preferably EOJ
- have knowledge of collective agreements and working hours rules within the area
- can navigate between the citizen perspective, the professional quality and daily operations
- work structured, independently and flexibly
- are loyal to applicable quality standards, guidelines and procedures
- communicate clearly, appreciatively and trust-building
- contribute to a good working environment and a strong relational cooperation
- can keep an overview – also when everyday life is busy and unpredictable.
Why you should apply
With us you have the opportunity to make a difference every day. You become part of an organization where we together build a new district structure. This means you will have the opportunity to help shape good workflows, strong collaborations and daily life where we succeed together around the citizens.
You can look forward to a job with great variety, high professionalism and close collaboration with both the manager, colleagues and other coordinators. We help each other, share knowledge and focus on creating a workday where there is room for both professionalism, flexibility and good camaraderie.
Employment terms
The position is a permanent position of 37 hours.
Start date: 1 January 2027.
The position is remunerated in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the relevant professional organization. The expected starting salary lies in the range between DKK 31,000 - 38,000 plus pension.
