Crane technician / Service technician wanted for cranes, hydraulics and fault finding

Then you have the opportunity to become part of a strong technical team that works with service, repair and fault finding on cranes and lifting equipment.

For our client, Palfinger, we are seeking 1 crane technician for an exciting position where you get great freedom, diverse tasks and the opportunity to work with advanced hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems. You will become part of a company where quality, safety and professional service go hand in hand.

As a crane technician you will have a varied daily routine focused on service, travel (to customers in the Greater Copenhagen area), maintenance and fault finding on cranes and lifting equipment.

Your tasks

• Service and repair of cranes and lifting equipment
• Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault finding
• Replacement and maintenance of hydraulic components
• Troubleshooting of electrical technical systems, sensors and control current
• Preparation, installation and testing of new equipment
• Inspections and safety checks of cranes
• Documentation of completed service work
• Technical advice and customer contact
• Collaboration with colleagues and technical support on complex service tasks
• Service visits to customers in the Greater Copenhagen area

Your profile

You can have several entry points to the job. The most important is that you are technically strong and enjoy fault finding.

• Have a technical education such as e.g. truck mechanic, construction machinery mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, industrial mechanic or similar
• Have experience with service and repair of technical equipment
• Have experience with hydraulics and hydraulic fault finding
• Have experience with electrical fault finding and mechanical fault finding
• Have a good understanding of electrical diagrams, control current, relays and sensors
• Preferably have knowledge of CANbus systems and PLC-controlled systems
• Can analyze complex faults and work in a structured way towards the right solution
• Works independently and takes responsibility for your tasks
• Is certified in Hot Work
• Is adaptable and thrives when planned tasks can change at short notice
• Has focus on quality, safety and high customer service
• Has a category B driving license and proficiency in Danish and English
