Sharp search engine optimization, groundbreaking technologies and visibility in both classic search engines and the new AI-driven generative platforms. At Searchmind you combine data-driven analysis, content strategy and technical optimization to build SEO- and GEO-solutions (Generative Engine Optimization) that ensure our customers are found – no matter where the target audience searches for answers.

You will have the opportunity to experiment and nerd out in a fast-paced environment where there is a short path from analysis to action. From keyword analyses, technical audits and content optimization to GEO strategies in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google SGE, you will learn to create organic growth for modern brands – always with a focus on very high data quality, visibility and real impact.

Programs as SEO & GEO intern

The way people search for information changes rapidly in step with AI. At Searchmind we combine classic technical SEO, quality content and the new discipline GEO into strong, data-driven strategies that create long-term results and prominent rankings for our customers.

As an SEO & GEO intern you will have the opportunity to deepen your skills across the entire spectrum of organic marketing. You will work side by side with our experienced SEO specialists and data nerds. Here you will be involved in the whole process – from the initial analyses, competitor mapping and technical checks to the development of GEO-optimized texts and ongoing reporting on the clients’ performance.

You will quickly gain hands-on experience, real responsibility for your own tasks and plenty of freedom to try new AI tools, analyze search patterns and build a strong professional profile.

Your tasks – roughly speaking

• Keyword & Intent analysis: Uncover what the target audience searches for in both classic search engines and AI-driven search tools.
• GEO & AI optimization: Optimize content and data structures to be cited and highlighted in generative AI services (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot and Perplexity).
• On-page SEO & copy: Develop and optimize engaging, relevant and structured texts, headings and metadata.
• Technical SEO: Troubleshoot, perform technical audits and optimize internal links, crawlability and site speed in collaboration with our tech team.
• Link building & authority: Strategically build and strengthen clients’ domain authority.
• Data & reporting: Analyze organic traffic and rankings using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, etc.

Is this you we are looking for?

You are a student in a relevant education – e.g., in marketing, digital commerce, communications, E-concept development, IT and digitalization or similar. You are passionate about organic visibility, curious about AI development in search engines and love combining language, data and technology.

We expect you to have plenty of drive and be ready to dive into an internship where you get real responsibility and a steep learning curve.

We imagine that

• You have knowledge of or strong interest in Google, search behavior and how AI changes digital search.
• You write well and understand how text should be structured for both humans and algorithm-driven AI models.
• You have a structured and analytical approach and are ready to learn tools like Google Analytics, Search Console and Ahrefs.
• You are initiative-taking, outgoing and ready to try your professional wings.

Internship terms

• Duration: The program runs over 2 x 10 weeks. The last 10 weeks are tailored with 2 writing days per week dedicated to your main task. It is a requirement on our part – and to ensure you get the greatest benefit from the program – that you take the entire program and not only the first 10 weeks.
• Language: We are currently seeking only Danish-speaking students.
