Give the students' ideas shape and direct their curiosity

Skovlyskolen seeks an engaged teacher for the middle years with particular emphasis on crafts and design as well as cultural subjects as of January 1, 2027. You will also teach crafts and design as an elective in upper secondary. Other teaching subjects are of course welcome – tell us what else you can contribute.

You will become part of a close and committed year-group team, where teachers and pedagogues work in a strong partnership around the students' learning, well-being and development. In the middle years we focus on keeping students' curiosity alive and creating clear academic progression through structure, variation and strong relationships.

As part of Skovlyskolen 2.0 we work in longer and more coherent modules. This creates calm, fewer transitions and better opportunities for academic immersion – also for students in the middle years.

We are seeking a teacher who will create coherence between idea, craft and reflection and give the students the courage to test, dive in and learn from the process. You will work closely with a co-teacher and the year group's pedagogues on a safe and academically developing school day.

Your profile

Education

You are a trained teacher with teaching subjects or equivalent competencies in crafts and design and can teach cultural subjects in the middle years. You have the desire and competencies to also take on crafts and design as an elective in upper secondary.

• You continuously use assessment and feedback as a tool to strengthen students' learning.
• You actively contribute to the development of the subjects and see opportunities for cross-disciplinary and practice-oriented courses.
