We are seeking a new colleague for the Debt Collection Office in Slagelse Municipality, as one of our employees is retiring.

Your primary tasks

• Daily bank and Nets postings, as well as settlements from the Danish Tax Authority
• Half- and full-year reconciliation of the entire debtor system
• Correction of erroneous payments and disbursements
• System maintenance and development

Your secondary tasks

• Debt collection and follow-up on the municipality's claims and payments
• Delinquencies, payment agreements and collection cases
• Telephone and written citizen service
• Case handling
• Handling of claims that are sent to the Danish Tax Authority
• Development and improvement of workflows and digital solutions.
• Other administrative tasks within the payment area

We are looking for someone who

• has experience with collection and reconciliation in relation to this. It is a clear advantage if you have a black belt in reconciliation and enjoy digging into the task
• takes responsibility for your tasks and thrives with independent work, where you are able to prioritize your tasks and see them through
• have knowledge of KMD-Opus-Debtor is an advantage, but not a requirement
• is not afraid to share your successes and your doubts for the benefit of all
• thrives in an appreciative work environment, where there is sometimes not a long way from thought to action
• thrives with independent work and at the same time close collaboration with a colleague

About the Debt Collection Office

The Debt Collection Office is organized in Procurement and Insurance, which is part of Finance, Digitization and HR.

At the Debt Collection Office there are 4 employees who are responsible for daily operations. We have our own tasks, but must also be able to cover each other during holidays, sickness and other absence. It is therefore important that you enjoy working independently, taking responsibility and being part of a small team. The debt collection team works closely with colleagues in Housing Deposit Loans and Property Contributions, which consists of 3 employees. Slagelse Municipality uses KMD-Opus-Debtor as its collection system.

Procurement and Insurance also consists of employees who work with, among other things, tenders, insurance administration and fleet management. You will therefore have colleagues with many different professional backgrounds.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the Ny-Løn principles.
