About the job

We are seeking a nurse from January 1, 2027, who wishes to join a team of three nurses with high professional standards, strong commitment and a shared focus on developing and quality assuring the care for our residents.

We are looking for you who thrive with both independent tasks and close collaboration. You have broad nursing experience and a desire to share your knowledge with colleagues. An important part of the job is to teach, guide and develop the competencies of care staff and to support high quality in documentation.

At Hørup Nursing Home we work from the belief that life is to be lived throughout life. Therefore we are seeking a nurse who, together with residents, relatives, volunteers, colleagues and management, will help create a care center where professionalism, care and quality of life go hand in hand.

You have influence on the position's hours: it can be from 25 hours up to full-time. Work hours are planned in balance between your wishes and our operations, primarily on weekdays between 8:00 and 15:00, and there may occasionally be tasks outside this time window. The more hours you want, the more tasks in the care teams.

The nurse's duties are

  • Contribute to high nursing- and care-related quality

  • In collaboration with care teams, handle health-related treatment and assessment of residents

  • Collaborate with the care center's management
  • Allocation of nursing tasks to the care staff
  • Document nursing in our care system CURA
  • Collaborate with relatives

We are looking for a colleague who

  • Is a trained nurse and has broad nursing experience, preferably including municipal experience
  • Is interested in elderly people and will contribute to a life with high quality of life for residents
  • Is systematic in approaching task solving, can work independently, but also seeks collaboration with the other staff and delegates where appropriate.
  • Values good teamwork highly
  • Can maintain an overview despite having multiple balls in the air
  • Is problem-solving in the approach to new tasks and enjoys challenges
  • Has good pedagogical and communicative skills, both oral and written
  • Has experience in developing the competencies of health professionals
  • Has an IT flair and preferably experience with CURA
  • Contributes with good energy and positivity
