About us

The Rødovre residential care facility is seeking a pedagogical staff member for night shifts with 24-hour duties. The Rødovre residential care facility is part of Hyldgaard & Larsen Sjælland, and is a single-occupancy facility under the Danish Social Services Act sections 107 and 108.

The individuals we assist often have complex psychiatric and social issues and require a persistent and close pedagogical effort to manage daily life in the best possible way.

About the position

As a pedagogical staff member you will play an important role in supporting citizens’ well-being, safety, development and personal goals. Your responsibilities include, among other things:

· support, help and care in daily life - with a focus on structure, predictability and a meaningful day for the individual

· relationship work, documentation and interdisciplinary sparring

· participation in agreements with external partners, including the health service, substance abuse treatment, the Danish Prison and Probation Service, etc.

· to accommodate and support the citizens – also in situations with high frustration levels, where clarity, professional judgment and a regulated nervous system are crucial

We are looking for someone who

· is educated as a pedagogue, social worker, SSA or other relevant educational background

· thrives in working independently with a complex citizen group

· has relevant experience from social psychiatry and/or the target group

· has a curious, reflective and academically grounded approach to your work

· is passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration and professional quality

· has respect and humility in relation to being part of another person’s life

· can stay calm and maintain overview in situations where it is required

· sees value in documenting your professional efforts and observations

· has knowledge of the LA2 method
