Your main tasks

• Assist during treatments and contribute to a calm and professional patient journey
• Preparation, sterilisation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, as well as updating operational journals
• Work with delegated tasks within prevention, patient guidance, examinations of small children, fissure sealing and teeth cleaning
• Actively contribute to the development of dental care and good collaboration across the clinics, and be conscious of your own contribution to a good working environment.

We have wide breadth in our task solution including, among other things, anesthesia treatments about once a month, and we handle a large portion of the surgical tasks ourselves. Who we are

We are 19 dental assistants, three dental assistant trainees, three dental hygienists, 13 dentists, and the Dental Care leadership consisting of a team leader, a secretary and a chief dentist.

• Children and adolescents are treated at three clinics distributed across two teams
• Care dentistry takes place at five care home clinics, in the citizens' homes or at our child and youth dental clinics
• Social dentistry is handled at the dental clinic Tandrødderne near Ballerup Town Hall
• Orthodontics is handled by the Center for Orthodontics (CFT) in collaboration with Egedal and Furesø Municipalities.

Employment process and salary

The employment start date is January 1, 2027

We expect to hold interviews on November 12, 2026

The position is initially 37 hours and is a permanent position.

We offer pay and employment terms under the collective agreement for dental clinic assistants in municipalities.

Hiring takes place according to the principles of local wage formation and after agreement with the negotiating organization.

The salary range for the position as dental clinic assistant is 30,142.67 DKK - 39,903.73 DKK per month, excluding pension, for full-time employment (37 hours per week).

The final salary is determined after negotiation between the employer and the union that has negotiating rights in the relevant collective agreement area. The salary depends, among other things, on your education, documented seniority and qualifications.
