Dental Clinic Assistant Trainee for Gladsaxe Municipal Dental Care

The dental service in Gladsaxe Municipality is seeking a clinical assistant apprentice with start January 2027.

The dental service in Gladsaxe Municipality is part of the Children and Culture Administration and consists of 2 Caries Clinics and an Orthodontic Clinic. We are looking for a clinical assistant apprentice who is passionate about working with children and young people in a meaningful job with health promotion and prevention in focus, with start on 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

You, as a clinical assistant apprentice, will work closely with dentists, dental hygienists, clinical assistants and all our residents and daily users. You will receive a professional mentor you can always turn to, who will help you get started with all the new tasks. As an apprentice you will gain practical experience with many of the profession’s possibilities. During your education you may rotate at our two caries clinics and at the orthodontic clinic.

We also have clinics at the municipality’s care homes, where you can become acquainted with the Care Dentistry program. At the caries clinics our own surgeons work, and several times a year we have visits from an external surgeon. Your tasks will be based on your practice plan, where we will ensure an educational pathway with exciting professional challenges in line with your development.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization. Employment is conditional on having completed the basic course at the start of employment.

You will receive apprentice salary from the day your education agreement enters into force, i.e. during both practical and school periods.

Your working hours average 37 hours per week.

We conduct criminal and child safeguarding checks as part of the employment process.
