Digital Manufacturing Specialist

We are looking for a profile that can bridge the physical production, technical documentation, production data and digital solutions. You must help ensure that the right information is accessible, up-to-date and usable where the work is performed.

We want to use digitalization and AI to create reliability and value, while reducing manual work, improving data quality and creating more consistent workflows. It requires a person who both understands the reality of production and can translate digital opportunities into solutions with real value. We want AI to be used as a tool to improve our processes – not as an end in itself.

Your role and tasks

Our upcoming employee will have a central role in modernizing the information and data flow out to production.

An important part of the task will be to create an overview of our production documentation, work instructions, bills of materials, routings and data in our ERP system Monitor. You will help establish a structure where employees can find the correct information, where documents have clear owners, and where changes are handled in a controlled manner.

At the same time, with your strong digital skills, identify opportunities to use Power BI, automation and AI to streamline repetitive tasks, improve data quality and give the organization a better basis for decision-making.

Your tasks will include

• Map the information flow from the technical department to the daily production.
• Digitize and standardize work instructions and production papers.
• Establish clear principles for document ownership, approval and version control.
• Clean up document structures, folders, duplicates and local document copies.
• Ensure a common and reliable source for the current production information.
• Support standardization and quality assurance of bills of materials and production routings.
• Work on data quality in Monitor.
• Develop Power BI reports, KPIs and operational decision support.
• Apply AI to document analysis, comparison, classification, search and control.
• Collaborate with IT on data security, access control, integrations and system architecture.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have a relevant technical education such as production technologist, mechanical engineer, production engineer or an equivalent background within industrial production enriched with digitalization.

The key is that you can combine practical production understanding with strong digital skills. We particularly emphasize that you:

• Understand industrial production, bills of materials, routings and production basis.
• Have experience with digitalization, data analysis, Power BI and automation.
• Have a good understanding of AI and the ability to apply the technology in a critical and responsible manner.
• Can work systematically with data quality, document management and version control.
• Are good at collaborating across production, engineering and IT.
• Respect the operators' experience and can create usable solutions based on needs.
