DMR is seeking a technician with experience in using QGIS for our geotechnical department in Jutland

To one of our offices in Aabenraa, Kolding, Horsens or Silkeborg we are seeking, as soon as possible, a technician to perform, among other things, QGIS tasks.

It is advantageous to have extensive experience with QGIS.

The position is 37 hours per week.

You will work together with our project managers and handle a wide range of tasks within GIS work.

DMR employs a total of around 300 staff, of which about 55 are geotechnical engineers. Work is carried out across geography and offices, so your tasks may be for colleagues throughout the country. Your duties will include:

• preparation of drawings in QGIS
• drilling permits
• signage plans
• volume calculations in TBC
• preparation of bore profiles
• preparation of site plans within geotechnics
• archiving and journaling of case material.

We expect that you

• are educated as a surveyor and geodesy technician or similar
• have an overview and are thorough in a busy, high-activity workplace
• have worked extensively with QGIS
• have worked with Trimble Business Center (TBC)
• are quick to learn new things and have good drawing interpretation
• have a good understanding of economics
• work independently and systematically
• focus on collaboration.
