DMR seeks technician for our geotechnical department in Herlev

For our office in Herlev we are seeking as soon as possible a technician to perform compaction control, geotechnical laboratory tests and infiltration tests.

Experience with performing compaction control, geotechnical laboratory tests and being accustomed to outdoor work year-round on construction sites is an advantage.

The position is 37 hours per week.

You will work alongside our project managers and after training supervise the execution of geotechnical routine tests and compaction controls. In addition, the job includes the preparation of bore profiles and site plans within geotechnics.

DMR currently employs about 50 employees in Herlev, one of the 16 offices in DMR. DMR employs just over 300 employees in total, of which about 55 are geotechnical engineers. Work is carried out across geography and offices, so your tasks may be for colleagues nationwide. Your tasks will include:

• execution of compaction control at construction sites year-round
• execution of moisture measurements in connection with lime stabilization year-round
• execution of mini fall weight measurements and static plate load tests year-round
• execution of geotechnical routine tests such as water content and grain-size curve determination
• preparation of bore profiles
• preparation of site plans within geotechnics
• archiving and filing of case materials.

We expect that you

• are educated as environmental technologist, agritechnologist, process operator, geologist or similar
• enjoy working on construction sites
• have an overview and are meticulous in a high-activity workday
• are comfortable with IT
• are quick to learn new things and have good drawing interpretation
• have a good understanding of economics
• work independently and systematically
• focus on collaboration
• can operate on a construction site year-round.
