In Fryden we are looking for an educator who knows that the moment is pedagogy. That

We in Fryden have had a development process with Søren Smidt and now continue ourselves to strengthen our play-related practice. In Fryden, play is not just a break from learning. Play is learning . Play is formation . Play is community .

Who are we?

Fryden is an integrated day-care with 77 children (0–6 years) distributed across two toddler groups and three kindergarten groups. We live in a cozy villa close to Frederiksberg Have, Søndermarken and the Zoo. We are 9 educators (including a deputy head), 9 assistants and a student educator. The management is close to practice and actively involved in professional development on the units.

We are looking for you, who

• Are trained as an educator and are passionate about toddler pedagogy – and understand the importance of the early years
• Have a clear professional stance and can articulate your pedagogical choices
• See children's attempts as meaningful communication and are curious about the intention behind
• Can work systematically and qualified with planning, documentation and evaluation – because quality does not arise by chance
• Take co-responsibility for the professional communities at Fryden and actively contribute to reflection, sparring and development
• Have the courage to be investigative, self-reflective and in motion – even when it calls for new perspectives

• Fixed preparation time – two hours per month in addition to meetings, so you have room for planning and reflection
