About the job

With us, data is not just numbers. Here, data is a path to knowledge about students' well-being, completion and the welfare of the future.

We are seeking a leader who can ensure ongoing quality in the center's administrative tasks, use data wisely and at the same time remember the person behind the numbers. A leader who can set direction, create coherence across other centers and ensure that data and administration support students' path through their education.

As a leader you will be a central part of the management team at the Center for student-oriented resources and will have the responsibility to lead 30 skilled employees with different professional profiles. Here work is done with student administration, data, administration, systems, GDPR and support of students' educational journeys.

”Good leadership is not about physical proximity, but about relationships, trust and accessibility. As center leader with us you must be able to lead across locations and at the same time be a visible and present leader. You will be part of a center with a strong collegial community, humor in daily life, and a genuine focus on both well-being and the core task."

Pia Grosse, Center Leader for Educational Guidance

Who are you?

You are analytical and use data as the basis for dialogue, learning and development. At the same time you have an eye for the people represented by the numbers and for the staff who work with data in your center.

You can navigate the tension between operations, development, legislation and quality. You ensure stable operations and high quality in administration, while driving the development of workflows, digital solutions and service to students and partners.

You have a grip on public administration and GDPR and see opportunities in digitization and AI when it creates value for students, staff and the organization.

You also know that good results are created through people. Therefore you actively work on staff well-being and development, and you focus on strengthening collaboration internally and externally with SOSU H’s important partners.

We imagine that you

  • Have experience with personnel leadership and can build followership through clear direction and involvement.
  • Thrive in a politically governed educational institution.
  • Build good relationships and collaborate across disciplines and organizational boundaries.
  • Can translate strategic goals into concrete practice.
  • Have a view of both people, operations and results.
  • Can handle a complex daily life with many stakeholders.
  • Focus on the core task and the students' perspective.
  • See diversity as a strength.
  • Manage to balance development and stable operations.
  • Are interested in data, digitization and optimization

We offer

  • A meaningful leadership job with great societal significance.
  • Opportunity to influence the development at SOSU H from a center perspective
  • Skilled and engaged employees.
  • A close collaboration with ambitious leadership colleagues in a strong leadership community.
  • Good opportunities for professional and managerial development.
