Do you want to be a social and health care assistant trainee in Holbæk Municipality?

We are looking for motivated social and health care assistant students for education start on January 18, 2027 on the main course.

The education lasts about 2 years and 9 months and alternates between school at ZBC Holbæk and internships at a care center and home care in Holbæk Municipality, internship in psychiatry and at a hospital. Since we cycle to citizens in home care, you must be able to cycle.

You will receive an exciting education, where you will learn, among other things, about basic nursing, such as providing personal assistance to elderly citizens, wound care, dosing medications, etc. In addition you will learn to work with rehabilitation, work multidisciplinary with colleagues, the citizen's own doctor, nurses, therapists and other partners.

We have a good learning and educational environment, where you have both a daily supervisor and a responsible supervisor who help support and guide you during the education, as your well-being and professional development are important to us. We ensure a thorough introduction to the tasks at your internship site as well as to your education, where we organize introductory days for new students, so you get a good and safe start.

You meet at student cafes with the other students, where you have the opportunity to exchange thoughts with each other and where we also have teaching in professional topics.

You are

• In the process of Grundforløb 2 – or have already completed Grundforløb 2 aimed at SSA
• Possibly already trained social and health helper
• Have irregular attendance and can take responsibility for your education
• Interested in working with elderly people
• Empathetic and responsible in your work
• Bright and early in the morning, as the workday starts at 7.00

Salary and employment conditions

• You will receive wages throughout your education, both during school and internship periods
• The salary is according to the applicable collective agreement with FOA
• If you are 25 years or older, you will receive adult student salary
• You can expect to have weekend shifts about every 3rd - 4th weekend
• The internship sites are geographically located across Holbæk Municipality
• We ensure to arrange your educational pathway for you
