Do you want to be our tenth pedagogue? Paletten at Øresundsvej is looking for a pedagogue for a maternity leave replacement (35-37 hours per week)

Paletten is an integrated institution with 80 children distributed across five rooms. All rooms have children aged 0-6 years. Therefore it is important that you want to work with both infants and kindergarten children.

Your everyday life at Paletten

In Paletten we take play seriously. We work with adults' participation in play, the staff's positioning, and the house's physical layout, where we all work according to the principles from Rum og Læring as a supporting factor. You can see some of our play environments on our Instagram profile .

In your daily life with us you will work with children in small groups, so that together we create the best conditions for immersion, development, learning, relationship-building and diverse child communities.

In Paletten we work with aligned pedagogy/Low Arousal. We believe that all children do their best, and we look at the child’s intention and not the action. We focus on the child’s perspective, and we follow the children’s initiatives, as we believe that children are active co-creators of their own learning processes.

We use pedagogical physical activity throughout the day.

We seek a dynamic learning environment, where all elements of the day are a potential pedagogical activity. Learning and development occur in alternating between planned play, planned activities, daily routines, children's play and spontaneously arising situations.

In our collaboration it is important that agreements are kept, so the children are offered the same high quality, regardless of which room they go to. Therefore we regularly revisit our pedagogy and pedagogical practice.

The staff group consists of experienced and newly graduated pedagogues and pedagogical assistants/helpers. We are a staff group where professional development is the keyword. Our employees thrive, and in the 2025 wellbeing survey we scored an average of 6.2 out of 7.

The Cluster

Paletten is part of Amager Cluster G. The cluster consists of six units located in the neighbourhood around Holmbladsgade and Øresundsvej. In the cluster we have a particular focus on aligned pedagogy, language, well-being, play, space and learning, as well as work communities.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local wage formation. Start on December 1, 2026 or as soon as possible.
