About the job

HR at Søndre Campus, University of Copenhagen – now seeking an engaged HR employee

Are you passionate about HR, and do you thrive working broadly with personnel administration and recruitment? Do you want to become part of a strong professional community where collaboration and development go hand in hand? Then it may be you we are looking for.

The University of Copenhagen is Denmark's largest university and enjoys international recognition. Our staff are enthusiasts dedicated to lifelong knowledge and learning. HR at the University of Copenhagen is one of Denmark's largest HR organizations with almost 250 HR employees – of which about 60 at Søndre Campus. HR is organized in three HR centers and a group unit, all linked to the shared university administration.

We offer a permanent position in HR Søndre Campus with start as soon as possible and no later than February 1, 2027.

About the job

As an HR employee in HR Søndre you will be part of a team where professionalism, sparring and trust are at the forefront. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR tasks – and the opportunity to follow the processes from start to finish as well as the possibility to become HR partner for an institute.

Your main tasks will be within the following areas

  • Recruitment of both technically administrative (TAP) and scientific staff (VIP) – including advising managers, preparing job postings, contracts and the administrative process
  • Maintenance of operational partner function
  • Advice on pay, terms of employment and HR-related questions
  • Operation and administration of employment relationships – e.g. changes of working hours, extensions and terminations
  • Maternity administration and payroll entry in HR-Pay
  • Participation in expert groups (e.g. maternity leave, international appointments), where you contribute to the development of processes and templates

About you

We imagine that you have a relevant education – e.g. a clerical education with public administration or an academic background – and preferably experience with HR tasks in a governmental context.

In addition we emphasize that you

  • Have an overview and can prioritize your tasks
  • Are structured and follow up tasks through to completion
  • Are solution-oriented and take initiative
  • Thrive on collaboration and sharing knowledge with your colleagues
  • Have a can-do attitude and desire for professional development
  • Are service-minded, enjoy advising and are at the same time clear in your communication

Experience with HR Pay and HR Manager/State Recruitment Solution is an advantage, but not a requirement. In addition, it would be an advantage if you have knowledge of the governmental collective agreements, and rules and circulars in the HR area. Finally, we are an international workplace, which is why part of our communication is in English, and your English skills must therefore be in order.

We offer

  • A strong professional and social HR environment with about 60 dedicated colleagues
  • Close sparring and opportunity for professional development
  • Influence on the development of HR Søndre through your experiences and ideas
  • Opportunity to work with HR tasks from A to Z
  • A workplace with flexible terms – e.g. flexitime, home working and central location near Islands Brygge
