Kongevellen, which is part of Skovvang and Trøjborg day care services, is seeking a pedagogue for our nursery and a pedagogue for our preschool. You are welcome to be interested in adventure, as we focus on making it feel like an adventure when moving around in our house. Adventure invites many different communities and we focus on ensuring that all children gain experiences with and are part of different communities, both small and large.

We are throughout our day care active in the “Daycare for all” initiative, where we currently focus on adults’ positioning, the brain’s importance and the connection between lived early childhood and our learning environments. We are not there yet and we need you to join our adventurous journey.

Who are we?

Kongevellen is an integrated institution with four nursery groups and two functionally divided preschool groups. We are a relatively new building with large bright spaces, motor skills room, creative workshop, a large rooftop terrace and playground – all of which provide opportunities for varied learning environments and good development opportunities for all our lovely children. We are in the process of creating our outdoor playground so that it also lives up to the possibilities we want to give the children outdoors.

We focus on Marte Meo, where we together learn more about good interaction and our pedagogical practice based on video. At the same time, we are implementing Sprogtrappen, which we also use as a basis when planning the pedagogy for the different children's groups.

You will become part of a diverse and engaged staff team consisting of both new arrivals and experienced pedagogues, assistants, students, kitchen staff and management, all working closely together on the core task through a shared focus on strong child communities, play as a starting point, opportunities for participation for all children, learning and well-being.

We have a strong planning and evaluation culture, where across teams we plan joint activities, excursions and projects with the curriculum themes in focus. We are always focused on adapting our learning environments, adult positioning, structure and collaboration to the needs of the child group – this is our shared pedagogical direction. Practical

· The position is 37 hours per week, but with the possibility of negotiated reduced hours.

· We would like a prompt start, but we also wait for the right people.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms will follow the applicable collective agreement. Final salary setting takes place after negotiation with the union eligible for bargaining based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement which can form the basis for salary setting
