Programme as a YouTube Ads intern

YouTube is not just a social media platform – it is the world’s second-largest search engine, where users actively seek answers, and AI models fetch their knowledge. As a YouTube Ads intern at Searchmind you step directly onto one of the most exciting and fastest-growing battlegrounds within digital marketing.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills in video-performance, data-driven targeting, and ad setup. With us you learn to harness the unique synergy between high search intent and visual content, so we create measurable results for our clients – from top-of-funnel branding to concrete sales.

You will work side by side with our most skilled PPC- and video specialists, who will guide and mentor you. You will quickly get your hands dirty on the real platforms and become an important part of building data-driven YouTube Ads campaigns.

Your tasks – in broad terms

• Analysis & Intent-research: Conduct audience and search intent analyses to reach users when they are actively seeking knowledge, reviews and solutions.
• Campaign setup: Set up and structure goal-oriented YouTube Ads campaigns (e.g., In-Stream, Shorts and Bumper Ads) in Google Ads.
• Performance & Optimization: Monitor and continuously optimize bidding strategies, audiences and conversion data.
• Creative Sparring: Analyze video creatives – what captures attention in the first seconds, and what creates long-lasting impact?
• Full-Funnel & Strategy: Help develop YouTube strategies that both raise awareness and drive assisted conversions across the customer journey.
• Test & AI-synergies: Experiment with new format tests and explore how YouTube content ensures clients’ visibility in future AI searches.

Is it you we’re looking for?

You are a student on a relevant education, e.g., in marketing, e-commerce, multimedia design, communication or similar. You are eager to learn much more at the intersection of video, data and consumer behavior – and perhaps you dream of becoming one of the sharpest in the industry for YouTube Ads.

We expect that you have drive and are ready to dive into an internship where you take responsibility and experience a steep learning curve.

Internship terms

• Duration: The program spans 2 x 10 weeks. The final 10 weeks are adjusted with 2 writing days per week dedicated to your main assignment. It is a requirement on our side – and so you get the maximum benefit from the program – that you take the whole program and not just the first 10 weeks.
• Language: We are currently seeking Danish-speaking students.
