About the job

Are you a planning genius with a sharp sense for operations and a good understanding of working hours rules? We are in SVO in the middle of an exciting process, where we want to optimize the working time planning even more, and we therefore seek a skilled working time planner for our team.

As a working time planner in SVO you will have the mandate to design, update and fine-tune the working time schedules for our residential facilities. You are the central key person who balances efficiency and flexibility, ensuring that all working time rules, collective agreements, local agreements and internal guidelines are followed to the letter. In close collaboration with the team you will plan for about 500 employees distributed across five residential facilities. It is a role where your planning and coordination expertise lifts both staff daily life and residents’ well‑being.

You will be attached to our secretariat at Kejlstrupvej in Silkeborg, where you will work most of the week. In addition, you will work from one of our offerings in Viborg one to two times a week, where you will be in close dialogue with both management and employees to ensure that the working time plans function optimally in practice. A driver’s license and a car are therefore necessary.

At SVO we place great emphasis on our employees having influence over their work plan, therefore our work plans are set “free”. It will be your task to try to meet both employees’ and citizens’ needs while ensuring stable operations. You will have flexible working hours, where you have the opportunity to organize your hours to best suit your everyday life. But some flexibility is to be expected.

Your tasks will include

  • Development and maintenance of working time plans for our residential facilities.
  • Ensure compliance with working time rules, collective agreements, local agreements and SVO’s internal guidelines.
  • Ongoing adjustment of work plans in dialogue with management and employees to ensure proper staffing and well‑being for both employees and residents.
  • Collaboration across professional groups to ensure a flexible and optimal use of resources.
  • There will also be other planning tasks such as development of intro plans, as well as training of staff in the use of the system.
  • Supportive function with regard to financial management, as SVO operates under market conditions.

We have delegated relatively a lot of decision‑making authority to our planning team, where we seek an employee who has experience making strategic decisions in an operational context and who can balance being solution‑oriented and structured, while having a good sense for both detail and the big picture.

We imagine that you

  • Have experience with working time planning either in an operational or managerial context.
  • Are good at getting to grips with IT systems and ensuring you stay updated.
  • It would be an advantage if you have solid knowledge of working time rules and collective agreements.
  • Are good at prioritizing tasks, working systematically and keeping a level head when there are many balls in the air.
  • Have strong communication skills and can explain complex issues in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Are a team player who understands the importance of collaboration and can build good relations across the organization.

To succeed in the role of working time planner, you must be someone who thrives in a dynamic and sometimes unpredictable environment where the ability to keep an overview and make quick decisions is essential. You are service‑minded, have impact, and you understand the importance of good communication – with management, staff and other partners.
