Are you passionate about helping create a greener society through political initiatives? Would you like to volunteer for an NGO? Then you may be one of the volunteers we are looking for.

Location: Aarhus. Application deadline: Ongoing.

VedvarendeEnergi is seeking volunteers who want to strengthen our political work for a green transition in Denmark, the EU and globally. We are looking for volunteers who want to help with analyses, organize meetings, write opinion pieces, etc. for a green transition with renewable energy and other green solutions.

• Circular economy, repair and less resource consumption
• Green transition grounded in citizens, local and civil society

We work to promote the green transition through communities and an active civil society, and political decisions should strengthen this.

What can you do as a political volunteer?

There are many ways to contribute, e.g.

• Help with analyses, idea development and political proposals
• Organize debates and information events around the country
• Help start new initiatives together with other volunteers

We tailor the tasks to your interests, competences and the time you have.

Do you want to make a concrete difference for climate, the environment and a more sustainable world? Do you want to use your skills – or develop new ones – together with other committed people? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for.

Practical

• Time commitment: typically a couple of hours per week (or more if you wish)
• Working mode: from home and/or from our office on Klosterport in Aarhus
• Community: monthly volunteer meetings in Aarhus, where we share knowledge, coordinate actions and discuss current political themes
