About the job

Do you have experience with case processing, a sense of structure and a desire to make a difference for citizens? Do you thrive on taking responsibility for your own tasks and at the same time be an active part of the joint task solving? Then you might be our new colleague at the Guardianship Office in Ringkøbing.

We are looking for engaged and experienced administrative staff who want to work with both administrative case processing, preparation of decisions and daily operations. With us you get a diverse daily life, where you not only handle administrative tasks but also take responsibility for concrete cases and contribute to ensuring that we solve our tasks efficiently and with high quality.

About the Guardianship Office

The Guardianship Office is part of the Family Court, which handles a number of important societal tasks within the family law area. At the Guardianship Office we handle cases about guardianship and future power of attorney. Our decisions often have great significance for citizens' personal and financial circumstances, and we therefore emphasize high professional quality, thoroughness and respect for citizens' legal protection.

We are an office in development. We work purposefully to create more efficient, uniform and coherent case processing, where high professional quality goes hand in hand with good planning of the work. Digitisation and LEAN are central elements in this work, and we continually focus on how we can simplify workflows, make better use of digital possibilities and create more coherent processes for the benefit of both citizens and employees.

At the same time we place emphasis on a good collegial community, where we help each other, share knowledge and use each other’s different competences.

Your tasks

As an administrative employee you will become an important part of the daily case processing at the Guardianship Office. You will be responsible for concrete cases, where you follow up on information, ensure correct documentation. After thorough training you will have independent responsibility for a number of selected case types, which you must be able to handle from start to finish.

A substantial part of the job will be to make decisions for citizens. This means that you will not only support case processing administratively, but also independently be able to handle relevant case types and formulate decisions that are clear and understandable for the citizens.

Your tasks will also include written and telephone contact with citizens and other relevant actors as well as ongoing coordination with your colleagues. You must be prepared to take responsibility for the progress of your cases and contribute to the office’s overall tasks being prioritized and resolved appropriately.

Who are you?

We imagine that you have experience with administrative case processing and enjoy working systematically with concrete cases. You can maintain an overview, even when there are several tasks and deadlines to handle, and you take responsibility for ensuring your tasks are followed through.

It is important that you can express yourself clearly and precisely in writing, as the preparation of decisions and other written communication with citizens is part of the job. You should also be keen to familiarize yourself with rules and workflows and be able to apply them in the concrete case processing. Experience in drafting decisions would be an advantage, but the most important is that you have an interest in the task and motivation to develop your competencies.

You thrive in collaboration and actively contribute to a good working environment and are curious how we can do things better together.

What do we offer?

We offer a varied and meaningful job where you get the opportunity to use your administrative skills in an authority with an important societal task. You will become part of an office with engaged and helpful colleagues, where cooperation, professional sparring and shared responsibility are central elements in daily life.

You will have the opportunity to develop yourself in case processing and decision writing and at the same time actively contribute to the development that the Guardianship Office undergoes. We prioritize a workplace with an informal tone, room for different perspectives and a focus on wellbeing.

We offer flexitime and the possibility of home working by agreement and with regard to tasks, cooperation and office operations.
