Judge at Copenhagen City Court

Two positions as judge at the Copenhagen City Court are available from February 1, 2027.

Appointment requires that you have completed the Master of Laws degree (cand.jur.).

Salary and terms of employment

Employment is as a civil servant within salary framework 38. The position also carries a personal, position-related allowance. The total salary in the position at present amounts to 86,536 DKK per month (August 1, 2026 level).

The pension contribution from the personal, position-related allowance amounts to 17.1%.

You must attach a curriculum vitae, final bachelor and master's certificates indicating grades and grade point average, any appellate court opinion, as well as any other statements. The Judiciary Appointments Council is expected on December 17, 2026 to decide which candidate is recommended for the position. The council's recommendation will be published on the website on December 18, 2026, at 14:00. Applicants who have attended an interview with the council will be notified by phone between 13:00 and 13:30.
