About the job

Are you good at making things happen in practice? Do you thrive on creating structure, following up on commitments, and ensuring that solutions work in everyday life?

At the Psychiatric Center Copenhagen we are looking for an Operations Coordinator for buildings, facilities and local IT tasks in the Quality and Improvement Unit.

We are seeking a colleague who is motivated by creating well-functioning physical and practical environments for patients and staff. You thrive on maintaining an overview, following up on agreements and ensuring progress in tasks, whether it concerns smaller practical challenges, IT-related operational tasks or larger maintenance and operational tasks.

You will become part of a cross-disciplinary team that works closely with the center's departments, management and partners to create the best possible framework for treatment, the work environment and daily operations. Therefore, it is important that you can work structurally with details while also keeping an eye on the whole.

About the position

As an Operations Coordinator you will play a central role in the daily coordination of tasks related to buildings, facilities and local IT operations. You will work closely with the Quality and Improvement Manager, who has overall responsibility for the area, while ensuring that decisions are translated into action and that tasks are resolved.

The position is located in the Quality and Improvement Unit, where you function as the link between the clinic and the internal and external partners who support the center's operations.

The tasks range from handling faults and deficiencies in the buildings to coordinating maintenance, furniture, interior changes and local IT tasks. You will have broad contact across the center's departments, staff and partners. Common to the tasks is that you create an overview, follow up and ensure progress.

Your primary area of work will be the center's campuses at Frederiksberg and Bispebjerg, but there will also be tasks at the Psychiatric Center Copenhagen's other addresses in the Copenhagen area.

Your tasks

You will among other things come to work with

  • Receive and follow up on inquiries from clinical departments and staff regarding buildings, facilities and local operational tasks.
  • Ordering, preparation and issuance of IT equipment as well as maintenance of the center's local IT inventory.
  • Coordinate tasks with the Property Center, technical service functions, CIMT and other partners.
  • Follow up on faults, deficiencies and maintenance tasks and ensure they are handled.
  • Create an overview of ongoing tasks and ensure progress in accordance with agreed priorities.
  • Coordinate relocations, reassignments, interior changes and other practical changes.
  • Order IT equipment, mainly laptops and mobile phones.
  • Prepare and hand out IT equipment to new and existing staff.
  • Receive, register and handle returned IT equipment.
  • Maintain the local IT inventory and ensure an updated overview of equipment.
  • Ensure overzicht over new and recyclable IT equipment.
  • Keep managers and staff informed about status, timelines and solutions.
  • Help develop and improve workflows within operations, facilities and local IT tasks.

About you

  • Work independently and thrive with responsibility.
  • Have strong coordination and planning skills.
  • Are good at creating structure in complex tasks.
  • Are persistent and follow up on tasks to completion.
  • Can handle many different tasks simultaneously without losing overview.
  • Have a sense of the whole and understand connections across the organization.
  • Are service-minded, collaborative and solution-focused.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally both orally and in writing.
  • Are motivated by helping others and creating good conditions for their daily life.

Your educational background is less important. The crucial thing is that you have experience with coordinating and following up on practical or administrative tasks, preferably within building operations, facility management, real estate management or similar areas.

You do not necessarily need a technical education, but you should have an interest in buildings and facilities and be the type who moves tasks from plan to action.

We offer

  • An exciting and versatile position with a high degree of autonomy.
  • A central role in one of Denmark's largest psychiatric centers.
  • Opportunity to influence the development of workflows and solutions in the facility and operations area.
  • A close collaboration with colleagues who work with quality, improvements, projects and organizational development.
  • A varied daily life with a broad contact surface across the organization.
  • Skilled and engaged colleagues who are passionate about creating value for patients and staff.

Salary and employment terms

The position is full-time, with commencement by agreement.

As a rule you will be employed under the collective agreement for Administration and IT personnel, etc. - 32.01.1

You will have a permanent desk on the Bispebjerg campus, where the Quality and Improvement Unit and Administration are based. However, work will take place across the center's many locations, giving you a varied daily life close to both clinical operations and the staff who use the solutions in practice.

Application and further information

The application deadline is November 12, 2026, and interviews are expected to be held on the mornings of November 16 and 17.

You apply for the position by sending your application, CV and any attachments via the link on this page.

If you have questions about the position, you are welcome to contact the Quality and Improvement Manager Marianne Maibøll at phone 30 55 02 34.
