Operations Assistant for Bornholms Varme

We are looking for a colleague with a technical background and an interest in operation, maintenance and automation of plants – preferably with experience from process plants, production or utilities. Your tasks

As an operations assistant you will be a central part of the operation at Bornholms Varme, which is part of Bornholms Energi & Forsyning. We supply district heating to large parts of the island, produced from energy sources such as wood chips and straw. Our main task is to ensure a stable and efficient heat supply for both private homes and businesses on Bornholm.

You will be part of a team where collaboration and professionalism are in focus, and you will have a daily life with great variation and good opportunities to put your professional fingerprint on the work.

Your primary tasks will be

• Operation and monitoring of boiler plants, machines and pump stations
• Maintenance, fault finding and repair on machinery and plants
• Receiving and handling of fuel
• Work with automation and optimization of plants
• Participation in development and streamlining of internal processes

Your profile

We imagine that you

• Have a relevant technical background – preferably trained electrician, industrial electrician or similar
• Have experience with or interest in SRO work (control, regulation and monitoring)
• Have understanding of or flair for networks and digitally controlled systems
• Have experience with operation, fault finding or maintenance of machines, plant systems, production lines or process plants
• Work in a structured way and take pride in quality and attention to detail
• Are outgoing, team-oriented and have a positive approach to daily life
• Want to develop, improve and optimise processes
• Master IT at user level – ideally more than that
• Are ready to join on-call duty when training is completed
