Driver and service assistant – 35 hours

Would you like to help make a difference for our citizens and at the same time become part of the daily life in the production kitchen MEALS for every DAY?

We are looking for a morning-spirited and flexible employee for a permanent position at 35 hours per week .

The position is varied and combines tasks as driver and service assistant in our distribution department . In addition, you will have hours in our receiving area as well as in packing and picking.

The working hours are generally between 6.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. . On Mondays the working hours may extend to 6.30 p.m. .

The job as a driver

MAD for every DAY delivers refrigerated meals to home-dwelling citizens and nursing homes in the municipalities of Albertslund, Hillerød, Frederikssund, Allerød and Halsnæs.

As a driver you drive fixed routes and are at the same time an important face outward. You will meet, among others, elderly citizens, and therefore we emphasize that you are friendly, helpful and provide good service.

Of course we will provide the necessary training.

The job as a service assistant

As a service assistant you will become part of our distribution and receiving.

The tasks will include, among other things

• Packing and picking of goods
• Tasks in receiving
• Practical tasks in the distribution department
• Working according to fixed procedures and requirements for self-check
• Ensuring order and structure in the work area

Part of the work takes place in cool environments. We will of course provide suitable work clothing and shoes.

We expect that you

• Have a driving license
• Preferably hold a driver's license for larger vehicles up to 7 tons, but this is not a requirement
• Can work independently and take responsibility
• Are service-minded and good at communicating with people
• Have good physical condition and thrive with an active job
• Can maintain overview even when things speed up
• Are flexible and have a positive attitude to the work
• Work systematically and can follow fixed work procedures
• Have knowledge of self-check and can keep things in order around you
• Can read, write, speak and understand Danish
• Can present a satisfactory criminal record
