Driver for special school transport

We are looking for 2 experienced drivers for permanent positions of 37 hours per week who can drive students to Norddjurs Municipality's various special schools/classes. The driving will take place on weekdays in the time window 05:30 to 18:00. Shared shift occurs daily.

The positions are available to be filled no later than 1 January 2027.

As a driver you will

• Participate in the daily driving and maintenance of the buses
• Have a focus on good service to students and parents
• Have a good approach to the children and the challenges the children have
• Be good at cooperating and interacting with other people

We expect that you

• Possess the large professional license for passenger transport
• Possess an EU qualification certificate
• Possess a valid driving license
• Possess a course for persons with mobility impairments (BAB), but not required
• Be accommodating, stable and service-minded
• Can speak, read and write Danish
• Have reasonably good geographic knowledge of Norddjurs Municipality

Knowledge of disability transport will be an advantage, but is not a condition.

Norddjurs Municipality offers an exciting 37-hour-per-week position with the workplace at either Djurslandsskolen in Ørum, the schools in Grenaa, Auning Skole or at Langhøjskolen in Vivild.

All drivers will receive pedagogical instruction in the challenges that students in special classes and at special schools may have in connection with transport to and from school.

A copy of a valid driving license including the large professional license for buses and driving license must be submitted together with the application along with other documentation.

Before any potential employment you must consent to the municipality obtaining both a criminal record and a child safety check.
