About the job

You will become part of Hjælpemidler Hærvejshuset, where we assess and deliver recycled assistive devices to the entire Aabenraa Municipality.

We are looking for a colleague for outbound delivery and collection of recycled assistive devices, preferably with technical ingenuity, since setup and removal of electronic door locks are also part of the task.

In the position it is important that you can work with several departments, as there is close interdepartmental cooperation in the house. At the same time you must be able to communicate clearly and collaborate with colleagues e.g. from Home Care and Nursing, as there is daily contact with them regarding distribution and returns of assistive devices.

In the position you will spend a significant part of the day on the roads and at citizens' own homes as well as in nursing homes.

About Hjælpemidler Hærvejshuset

We are a house where assistive devices are issued and returned, which must be repaired and recycled.

We are a department that focuses on what we can do together to get the tasks solved as well as possible so that citizens can get what they are entitled to in a timely manner.

In Hjælpemidler Hærvejshuset there is a mixed group employed in warehousing and logistics, distribution, technicians and case workers of recycled and body-worn assistive devices as well as consultants in welfare technology.

Hjælpemidler Hærvejshuset is part of the center Hjælpemidler and Speech-Hearing-Vision, where the Speech, Hearing and Vision department is based in Bov.

Tasks

• Outbound and return of recycled assistive devices
• Setup and removal of electronic door locks
• Small repairs at citizens' homes and in nursing homes
• Planning of the day’s and week's tasks
• Help other areas in the house during holidays and sickness

About you

We are looking for a colleague for the driver team who can both drive the car and be a passenger.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement for technical service entered into between KL and FOA.

There is a appointment for 37 hours per week starting January 4, 2027. The workplace is located at Vestergade 14 in Rødekro.

It is a condition of the position that you have a driving license.

Aabenraa Municipality is a smoke-free workplace, where smoking is not allowed during working hours or on the municipality's premises.
