Educator for JuniorZonen in Ferritslev

Are you a educator or pedagogical assistant with an interest in leisure-time pedagogy, and do you thrive on taking responsibility and standing alone with the children in everyday life? So are you perhaps our new colleague in JuniorZonen – a junior club for children in 4th-6th grade.

We are seeking an engaged employee for 20-25 hours per week, who wants to create a safe, fun and developmental club together with the children.

We are looking for you who

• Have pedagogical experience and understanding for children aged 10-13 years.
• Thrive in working alone with the children and take responsibility for daily operations.
• Can create safe environments with clear boundaries, presence and recognition.
• Want to initiate activities and follow the children’s initiatives.
• Work independently, take initiative and have good ideas.
• Thrive in sparring and collaboration with the working group, the coordinator and the volunteers.
• Have a good dialogue with both children and parents.

About the job

You will be responsible for the daily operations of JuniorZonen, including planning activities, children’s meetings, purchases and collaboration with volunteers attached to Ferritslev Fritidshus. You will have great freedom to put your mark on the club and the opportunity to develop the offering together with the children and the working group.

JuniorZonen is based at Ferritslev Fritidshus and is open Monday to Thursday 12-17. You will be part of a close collaboration with a volunteer working group. We continuously prioritise sparring and joint development of the club.

Practical information

• 20-25 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.
• The children's group typically consists of 25-35 children during the year.
• The club's opening hours generally follow the schools’ opening hours and school year.
• Evening work once a month in connection with events and meetings.
• Meetings outside opening hours count as working hours.
• Salary is negotiated in dialogue.
