Who are we?

We are a smaller privately run institution, with an operating agreement with Brønderslev Municipality, and we have "only" 59 lovely children distributed across three rooms.

Our size is our biggest pedagogical asset, as it provides a safe and manageable learning environment where we know the children well and have an eye for each child’s resources, interests and development.

In short, we know their laughter, their curls, their quirks, their superpowers and the days when everything is a bit difficult.

The size also means that we know each other well in the staff group.

We know who gets the offbeat ideas, who makes them succeed, and who shows up before you’ve asked for help.

For the truth is that everyday life in a kindergarten is not always perfect. Some days the coffee is cold, the lunch box forgotten, and the children seem as if they have made a joint plan to challenge the adults from morning.

That is exactly why strong colleagues matter so much. They are the ones who laugh with you, support you and help make the day succeed, even when it takes a somewhat different direction than planned.

Who are you in the classroom?

Whether you are newly graduated or experienced, we are seeking a colleague who takes pedagogical leadership and is focused on creating the best framework for the children’s well-being, development and participation.

We imagine that you

• create structure and safe frames in daily life.
• work in an appreciative and resource-oriented way with basis in ICDP.
• see the child’s strengths before its limitations.
• take initiative and actively contribute to the community.
• engage in children's play, learning and everyday life.
• are keen to reflect on your own and shared practice.

And you know that relationships are not something we do on the side of the pedagogical work.

What we do not expect

• We do not expect you to be faultless.
• We also do not expect you to always have the right answers.
• With us it is completely legitimate to have doubts, ask for help and learn along the way.
• We do not believe in flawless employees - We believe in curious and reflective colleagues.

A small honest admission

Two of our skilled colleagues will go on maternity leave, and we must at the same time maintain our minimum staffing level.

Therefore we are seeking three pedagogues. One of them is a permanent position.

The two maternity substitutes are, as a rule, time-limited.

But we also know that skilled pedagogues can be hard to let go of.

Therefore we certainly will not rule out that the future may bring new opportunities.

Maybe you are already employed

Fine - We actually almost expect it.

For the pedagogy we also hope to hear from probably already exists somewhere where they make a difference.

But perhaps you miss a bit more presence. A bit more professional sparring. A bit more humor. A bit more community.

• Workplace: Dronninglund Kindergarten, Hybenvej 10, 9330 Dronninglund.
• Opening hours: 6:00-17:00 (Friday until 16:00).
• Salary and employment terms according to applicable collective agreement.
• A child protection and criminal record check will be obtained upon hire.
• We will obtain references from your most recent position.
