In Vestbjerg sits Bakkely Kindergarten – a small house with the forest just around the corner, 42 curious children, a stable staff group and parents who want to be part of a community.

Here there are bonfires, puddles, traditions, professionalism and room for new ideas.

Here we know each other. And here children, parents and staff are met as people who have value in the community.

Our motto is: “People with a desire for the world.”

That says something important about how we want to be together. We actively work with the values of resilience, co-creation, initiative and sustainability – not as words that sit on a shelf, but as values that should be felt in our everyday life and in our pedagogical practice.

Now we’re missing you

We have a new leader at Bakkely, and together we look forward to starting the next chapter.

We are therefore looking for a trained pedagogue who wants to become part of our team and help both to take good care of what we already have and at the same time help develop and imagine new ideas.

For us at Bakkely it is important that there is room to be curious, to ask questions and to contribute ideas.

You don’t need to come with all the answers. Instead we hope that you want to help explore how we together can create the best everyday life for the children.

Being part of a self-governing kindergarten

Bakkely is a self-governing kindergarten with a service agreement with Aalborg Municipality.

We have a special opportunity to be close to the children and the families. We have an engaged board and a culture where there is a short path from idea to action. Together we are each other’s prerequisites for success.

We are a strong team with high professionalism, and we believe that we become better together. We share our knowledge, ask each other for advice and dare to be curious about our own practice.
