About the job

Your task – to create participation opportunities for all children

You will be attached to our middle form in the primary school with a special pedagogical approach on the B-track.

Students have different needs and may require clear structure, visual support, help with transitions or close adult support. The aim is to strengthen their well-being, learning and participation in the general instruction and the class community.

You should support the students' academic, social and personal participation and assess what support they need – including breaks or teaching in smaller settings. It requires presence, professional reflection and independence.

Your tasks

You should among other things

• support the students based on their individual needs and development possibilities
• support participation in teaching and the class community through structure and visual support
• adjust the support, including assessing the need for breaks or teaching in smaller groups, and conduct activities based on the teacher's planning
• collaborate with teachers, parents and relevant professionals about the student's well-being and development
• contribute to knowledge sharing and follow-up on individual goals, action plans and the pedagogical effort.

You should be able to support the students in everyday life as well as have an eye for their long-term development and independence.

• is educated as a pedagogue and wishes to work with special pedagogy in a mainstream school
• can create trusting relationships, even when it takes time and perseverance
• meets the children with calm, clarity, curiosity and positive expectations
• works structurally with clear frameworks and visual support systems
• sees both the individual child's needs and the importance of the community and thrives in close cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment will be in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Final salary settlement takes place after negotiation with the bargaining-empowered trade organization based on qualifications, unless the position is covered by a pre-agreement that can form the basis for salary settlement

The position: Maternity leave substitute as a pedagogue in the primary school with the task as special pedagogical resource person in small groups.

Start date: 1 January 2027.

Employment level: Full-time.

Duration: In connection with maternity leave with possibility of permanent employment.
