We are looking for 2 new colleagues for our house, as two of our skilled colleagues are respectively seeking other professional challenges and after many years of good cooperation retire. We are therefore seeking 2 educators for 37 hours per week for permanent positions in the mainstream part of the kindergarten. One position is as a permanent educator in charge of one of the rooms.

The second position is also permanent, but specifically connected to the preschool group. Here you will be in a fixed rotation, where you follow the oldest children for 8 months in the kindergarten and accompany them for 4 months in the transition when they start in preschool. When the children start school on 1 August, you return to the kindergarten and start with a new oldest group. This position is for you who want to be a secure and meaningful adult and want to create a bridge in the transition from kindergarten to school. In this way, the transition can become more fluid and safe for the children to be in.

Who are we?

Himmelblå Kindergarten is a large special-integrated kindergarten with a focus on diversity and inclusion. We consist of a mainstream section, normed to 75 children, currently 73, and a specialized §83 offer normed to 14 children. We are distributed over 3 rooms, Stjernen, Skyen, Regnbuen. In the mainstream day care you will join a committed team consisting of 5 educators, 3 pedagogical assistants and 2 helpers.

We are characterized by close collaboration across mainstream and special education areas, where we create participation opportunities for all children across the house groups. With us you will experience a daily life characterized by high professionalism, where we are particularly focused on play, presence, child communities, secure relationships and good parental collaboration.

In Himmelblå Kindergarten the Strengthened Pedagogical Curriculum is a living and dynamic working tool. We work purposefully with:

• Zone-delimited learning environments: We physically organize our framework to clearly show what children can play and learn.
• The children’s perspectives: We take the children’s own interests as a starting point and ensure that everyone has real opportunities to participate in the community.
• Acknowledging approach: We have a strong focus on the acknowledge­ing pedagogical practice, where we work from ICDP and KVALID.

Who are you in the room?

You are welcome whether you are a new graduate or an experienced educator. We are looking for a colleague who takes pedagogical leadership and is focused on creating the best conditions for the children’s well-being, learning, development and formation.

• Are present and clear: You meet the children at eye level, start from each child’s resources and manage to work with a structured, predictable and visual everyday life.
• Are involved in play: You focus on the value of play and actively participate in the children’s play, and frame meaningful learning environments with play at the center.
• Meet the child in NUZO: You can grasp and meet the children right where they are, while also working purposefully from the daily schedule and the child’s zone of proximal development.
• Take professional responsibility: You have a high pedagogical professionalism, actively seek new knowledge and actively use the Early Detection tool TOPI and follow up on action plans.
• Are strong in collaboration: You can work independently and take initiative, but also naturally integrate into the team and are a team player. You see collaboration with children, parents, colleagues and cross-disciplinary partners as a resource where we share knowledge and together create the best conditions for the children’s everyday life.
• Good communication skills: You have strong communication skills – both oral and written.

Parental collaboration: We work purposefully to develop a culture where daycare is not a service – but a binding collaboration between professionals and parents. You will experience leadership that supports this work in everyday life, and you will meet a culture where we work with parents to create development and solve tasks together.
