Børnehuset Nørregro is a self-governing institution seeking a 35- 37 hour educator for our nursery in Læssøesgade . We are in the heart of Nørrebro and are a small nursery, with a number of children who ride by bus to Lynge each day, with our 48 kindergarten children.

We value high professionalism, strong solid relationships and well-being as a prerequisite for a good childhood. This means that we are among the best childcare facilities in Copenhagen.

We prioritise having many educators on all rooms, plus a number of assistant education hours. In addition, as part of the team, we have 2 kitchen ladies in the nursery and the kindergarten.

Caring, presence and recognition are characteristic of our work in creating good meaningful relationships and learning environments for our children – all day long.

In daily practice, based on the curriculum themes, we work with a structured professional content that supports that the children are thriving and become capable. We do this, for example, by working in small groups where the educator takes responsibility for inclusion and content. Our routine-based pedagogy forms the foundation for the children’s well-being, learning, development and formation, and where self-reliance, presence and care are the driving forces.

All educators are certified in ICDP and you will be as well. The four trained educators who currently work in the nursery have all been employed since 2020.

The learning environment also applies to you, as there is an opportunity for subject-relevant courses with competence development and pedagogical days.
