Educator for Børnehuset Horsegaard in Galten

We moved on February 17, 2025 into our new kindergarten house in Galten, where we ourselves have had a say in the construction. Everyone enjoys the house and surroundings and now we are looking for a new colleague in the kindergarten groups to collaborate with regarding our wonderful children and families. The position starts from October/November respectively.

We look forward to welcoming you, who wishes a permanent position with us and is trained as a pedagogue. You choose your own hours between 30-37 hours.

The Horsegaard Kindergarten is currently normed for 45 toddlers and 80 kindergarten children, who are age-integrated 0-6 years in three clusters each with 1 toddler group and 1 kindergarten group, working closely together. In the long term the staffing in the kindergarten will rise to 120 kindergarten children, so that in each cluster there will be 2 kindergarten groups and 1 toddler group in close collaboration.

We are currently in full swing to figure out how we best together create culture and practice in everyday life for the benefit of the children. You must therefore have an interest in participating in a collaboration with colleagues, where there is no focus on ‘what has always been done’. We build together culture, children's environment and frameworks, tailored to the group in a continuous process.

Specifically, we are highly focused on the coherence/transition between the toddler room and the kindergarten, where we work to have the ready large toddlers participate on a weekly basis with 1 known adult in activities in the kindergarten. In this way the child experiences that everything is familiar and natural when starting in the kindergarten.

Our focus is also on a work environment where, together, we qualify the decisions to be made, both in the groups, in the clusters and in the whole house. We are a house where initiatives supported by arguments and theory are backed up and valued.

We are a NEST-inspired early childhood facility, where all permanent staff go through an internal training program in NEST practice.

In addition, new employees will be assigned a mentor, where time is set aside at start-up for ongoing sparring.
