At Lyngens Børnehus we are looking for a trained pedagogue for a permanent position of 37 hours per week in our kindergarten.

We are seeking a colleague who would like to be part of a professional community where we together develop our pedagogical practice. You don’t need to have all the answers from the start. The most important thing for us is that you are curious about children, about collaboration with colleagues, and about how we together can create the best opportunities for participation for all children.

Who are we?

Lyngens Børnehus is an integrated child house with both a nursery and a kindergarten. We are situated in the southern part of Viborg, with woods, trails and green areas right outside the door.

We are a house with great diversity among children and families. Many different cultures, experiences and linguistic backgrounds are represented in our community, and we see diversity as a strength. It gives us the opportunity to learn from each other and at the same time demands from us the ability to create inclusive learning environments where all children feel like meaningful participants.

We work purposefully with clear learning environments, a conscious organization of daily life, and shared pedagogical agreements so that children meet familiarity, security and coherence across the house. At the same time, we are focused on continuously developing our practice through reflection, dialogue and joint evaluation.

We believe that strong child communities are created by adults who collaborate, are curious about their own practice, and dare to bring their perspectives into play.

About you

You may be newly graduated and ready to develop your professional skills together with dedicated colleagues.

You may have many years of experience and a desire to bring your competencies into play in a house with professional ambitions and a clear direction.

The pedagogical task

At Lyngens Børnehus we want to create the best possible conditions for children’s well-being, development, learning and formation.

This means that you as a pedagogue must be able to create engaging relationships, clear frameworks and stimulating learning environments. You must be able to translate professional reflections into action in everyday life and be eager, together with colleagues, to be investigative about what works for the children.

We are not necessarily looking for the person who knows the most in advance. We are looking for a pedagogue who is curious, reflective and focused on creating the best possible conditions for children together with colleagues and parents.

Practical information

The position is a permanent pedagogue position of 37 hours per week in the kindergarten.

Start: December 1 or as soon as possible.

Salary and terms of employment

The salary is determined based on the applicable collective agreement and a concrete assessment of your education, your documented work experience as well as your professional and personal qualifications. Before employment and entering into the salary agreement you have the opportunity to receive information about the starting salary for the specific position. Viborg Municipality uses objective and gender-neutral criteria for salary setting in accordance with the rules on equal pay for equal work or work of equal value, and in accordance with the relevant collective agreement.
