About us
Sejs School has 3-4 tracks from 0th to 9th grade with about 800 children and 85 staff.
- Sejs School's mission is to be a public school for all children in the school district
- Sejs School's vision is that all children's potentials are developed optimally, so that all have the best conditions to develop themselves as individuals and to become something.
- We have about 340 children enrolled in our SFO, as almost all children in the early years at Sejs School are registered in our after-school offering.
We base our work on three core values
Community and well-being.
Community and well-being are fundamental prerequisites for a good learning environment and a good daily life for all. We will support a community based on cooperation and trust, with room for diversity and individuality and with respect for decency and basic interpersonal morals and good conduct towards one another.
Quality and ambition.
Everyone should do the best they can, and everyone should develop practice and daily life in all levels. Our ambition is that all children are taught and develop as much as the individual child has the capacity and opportunities for in the learning environment we are responsible for creating the framework for. This happens in interaction with professional and engaged adults who want something for the children and each other and have something on their minds.
Outlook and courage.
We must dare to explore and discuss the world around us and let ourselves be inspired – locally and globally, so our school notices new possibilities and so our students are equipped in every way to meet the world, independently and critically, and to find opportunities and see new ways, now and in the future.
