With us, sport is a part of the pedagogy

We use play, sport and movement to create development, well-being and strong children's communities. Our sports profile is not about running the fastest or scoring the most goals, but about the joy of movement and giving children the desire and courage to explore, challenge themselves and make experiences together with others.

A ball game can be an opportunity to practice cooperation and turn-taking. A tumbling game can provide experiences of sensing one’s own and others’ limits. And a tag game can be adapted along the way, so even the child who holds back a little gets the desire to join in.

Movement is therefore not only a planned activity in the multisport hall. It is a natural part of our daily life, both indoors and outdoors, in adult-guided activities and in the games that arise from the children's own initiatives. We make room for both high tempo, immersion and calm, and adjust the challenges to the children’s different prerequisites.

We are an integrated daycare with room for 78 toddlers and 125 kindergarten children. With a multisport hall, interactive floor and good outdoor areas, we have versatile facilities. It is our pedagogical choice and commitment that gives them value.

You are part of the play

With us, you do not just stand on the sidelines and set activities in motion. You participate, follow the children's initiatives and use your professional knowledge to open the play to more. This may mean adjusting a rule, changing the difficulty level or stepping forward yourself to show how to participate.

At the same time, you create present and close relationships and security throughout the day – also in the dressing room, at meals and in the transition from one situation to the next.

Together with your colleagues you plan, implement and evaluate the pedagogical practice. You explore what your choices mean for the children, and adjust when something calls for another approach. You also contribute to an open and trusting parent collaboration about the child’s daily life, well-being and development.

You get a community to develop in

You become part of a collegial community where we share observations, ask questions and help each other. The management is close to practice and available in everyday life, and we prioritise clear organisation so staff resources are used close to the children.

Through professional practice rooms, feedback and sparring you get the opportunity to develop your pedagogical and sport-related competences. Perhaps you come with an interest in dance, ball games, outdoor life or something else that can inspire us. Your ideas are welcome, and there is room to test them and learn from the experiences together.

What do you bring?

You meet the children with care and clarity and can translate professional reflections into action. You take responsibility, collaborate respectfully and dare to both share your perspectives and have your ideas challenged by others.

You do not need to master a specific sport. On the other hand, you should want to use your body in your work and bring your own joy of movement into play.

Salary and employment terms: Employment is according to the applicable collective agreement. The collective agreement base salary amounts to 34,662.78 DKK per month plus pension. There may be the possibility to negotiate qualification allowances based on relevant experience and competences.
