About Børnehuset Lendum

Børnehuset Lendum is a municipal day-care facility for children aged 0-6 years. We are located in the heart of Lendum and actively use our local environment, just as we have a close collaboration with the school and other local actors.

In our pedagogical work we focus on presence, relationships, play and development-enhancing learning environments. We see the secure relationship between child and adult as a crucial foundation for the child's well-being, learning, development and participation in the community.

We are committed to the pedagogical quality in daily life and to continuously developing our practice together. Børnehuset also participates in a nationwide program with a focus on PLAY, which means that play receives special attention in our pedagogical work. Parents are our partners regarding the children. Therefore we prioritize an open and professional dialogue characterized by mutual respect and a shared responsibility for the child's well-being and development.

We are seeking an educator who

• Is educated as an educator and passionate about working with children aged 0-3 years.
• Can translate pedagogical professionalism and reflection into concrete practice.
• Has a view of each child's needs, resources and development opportunities.
• Can create safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environments.
• Sees play as a central part of the child's development, learning and participation in the community.
• Is present and actively participates in the children's play.
• Can reflect on own and shared pedagogical practice and contribute constructively to professional development.
• Sees close and trustful parental collaboration as an important part of the pedagogical task.
• Contributes actively to a strong professional working community.

In the day-care sector in Hjørring Municipality we work from the strengthened pedagogical curriculum as well as the dialogue tool Kvalid. In connection with parental collaboration, Rambøll's Brain & Heart is used, and in addition we use Aula as a communication platform.
