The Spangsdal Kindergarten is seeking an engaged and professionally grounded pedagogue for our kindergarten.

Who are we?

The advertised position is a permanent position in our nursery and is desired to be filled by 1.1.2027.

The Spangsdal Kindergarten is an integrated kindergarten located in Overlund. We are an independently run institution with an operating agreement with Viborg Municipality. We have both outdoor and indoor excellent facilities, and are located in a wonderful local area that we make great use of on a daily basis.

In our nursery, we have 28 wonderful children, and in our kindergarten 50 equally wonderful kindergarten children.

We are a staff group of 20 employees distributed among pedagogues, pedagogical assistants, teaching assistants, and a food-safety responsible employee, all of whom look forward to welcoming you as our new colleague at the Spangsdal Kindergarten.

At Spangsdal Kindergarten we work purposefully to create equal participation opportunities for all our children. We have a strong focus on the “Open Community,” relationships, play, language development, and inclusive learning environments that support all our children’s well-being, formation, learning, and development. In addition, we work purposefully with Viborg Municipality’s other efforts around Strong Child Communities, VLS, and high pedagogical quality based on our systematic evaluation culture.

We are looking for a new colleague who

• Is a trained pedagogue.
• Has the ability to see the individual child’s needs while also paying attention to the groups.
• Has interest in and preferably experience with pedagogical work in the nursery.
• Has an appreciative approach in meetings with our children and adults, is present, and can and will create secure relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Understands the importance of play, curiosity, and the child’s perspective as essential and central elements in the pedagogical work.
• Can work loyally and structurally in relation to the kindergarten’s values and at the same time be flexible in a changing and unpredictable everyday life.
• Sees opportunities rather than limitations, and who can work independently, dare to take responsibility, and constructively actively contribute to a good and strong working environment.
• Will be an active part of our professionally strong community, and desires to contribute to professional reflections and continued professional development of the pedagogical practice at the Spangsdal Kindergarten.
• Sees and understands constructive and binding parental involvement as an important part of the core task.

Wages and employment

The advertised position is, as a rule, 37 hours per week.

The salary is set based on applicable collective agreement and a concrete assessment of your education, your documented work experience, and your professional and personal qualifications. Viborg Municipality uses objective and gender-neutral criteria for salary setting in accordance with the rules on equal pay for equal work or work of equal value.
