Are you passionate about the intimate educational work with 0-3-year-olds? And would you like to help create safe, stimulating learning environments in smaller groups, where nature and the senses are a natural part of everyday life? Then perhaps you are the one we are looking for in our nursery.

In Skovhuset we are looking for an educator who will help shape a daily life characterized by professionalism, calm and close relationships. Our nursery is normed for 15 children, and we deliberately work to divide the children into smaller groups during the day. That gives us the calm to meet each child where it is, create space for immersion and ensure a safe start to childhood.

With us, nature and the outdoor space are more than just a playground – they are an active learning environment. We use nature’s materials, the changing weather and sensory experiences to awaken the children’s curiosity and support their motor and linguistic development. We are looking for a colleague who is keen to put on outdoor gear and take the youngest on a journey of discovery in the grass, in the soil and under an open sky.

Who are we?

Skovhuset is an integrated day institution with 60 kindergarten children and 15 nursery children. We are located in scenic surroundings that form the framework of our daily life.

Pedagogically, we work from ICDP – an appreciative approach, where relationships, presence and well-being are the focus. In addition, we are in the process of the KVALid education, which strengthens our shared professional foundation for creating high-quality pedagogical learning environments – both in Skovhuset and in Dagtilbud Nord as a whole.

Dagtilbud Nord in Rebild Kommune consists of 6 larger day-care centers in Støvring, Øster Hornum and Suldrup, about 20 day carers, and Rebild Municipality’s Guest House.

• Create good learning environments where there is room for immersion, calm and sensory experiences for nursery children
• Actively use nature as a natural pedagogical framework for exploration, play and movement
• Be present and provide security in the relationship with the youngest children and their families
• Participate in the team’s professional reflections and pedagogical processes and conduct parent conversations (start-up, follow-up, etc.)
• Contribute to good parent collaboration with openness and good dialogue
• Meet everyday life with engagement, flexibility and good energy

Employment terms

Permanent position of 37 hours (possibility to adjust hours by agreement)

Start date January 1, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement

A child and criminal record check will be obtained upon employment
