About the job and tasks

You will become part of an engaged staff group, which today consists of 17 educators and 12 teachers. Here teachers and educators work closely together to create the best development opportunities for our students.

We are seeking an educator for a maternity leave cover in our special department in the lower years. The position consists of two consecutive maternity covers and runs from 1 December 2026 to 25 June 2027 with the possibility of extension. You will become part of an engaged team around our youngest students, and will participate in both teaching and our special SFO (after-school care). Start date is 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.

• Are trained as an educator or have another relevant qualification.
• Look beyond the child’s behavior and meet the students with high expectations.
• Work relationally, affirmingly and in a structured way.
• Have experience with or an interest in special education.
• Contribute positively to collaboration with colleagues and parents.

It is advantageous if you have experience with or interest in

• Autism
• ADHD
• Social-emotional challenges
• General learning difficulties
• Low cognitive functioning level

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and employment in accordance with applicable collective agreement, with the possibility to negotiate qualification and job pay.

Maternity leave vacancy of 37 hours per week from 1 December 2026 to 25 June 2027, with possibility of extension.

About us

Rask Mølle School is a well-functioning public school in Hedensted Municipality with about 390 students, of which around 73 students are in the special education offer. The school has a total of 60 staff and a strong collegial community. The special department consists of 11 classes from grade 0-9.
