After 32 years in Vrold Børnehus, one of our pedagogues goes into retirement, and we are therefore looking for a new colleague. You do not need to have 32 years of experience – perhaps you are a recent graduate, perhaps you have been a pedagogue for many years. The most important thing is that you want to be part of Vrold Børnehus and contribute with what you can and what you bring with you.

We have traditions and a culture we are proud of, while at the same time we are focused on developing ourselves. We put the children first and are curious about how we can continuously create even better frameworks for their well-being, development, play and communities. Therefore new ideas, perspectives and experiences are more than welcome.

Vrold Børnehus is an integrated early childhood center with 26 pedagogical staff distributed across three toddler groups and three preschool groups. In addition, we have a daily manager and a kitchen responsible, who run our full-cost diet program.

Vrold Børnehus is part of the Skanderborg town day care, which has a shared vision: ”Together we create a place you would choose if you were a child.” In the day care, there is a focus on high professionalism, where continuing education happens continuously, and where there is a work culture with few evening meetings and high presence

We are looking for a qualified pedagogue who

• can lead a group of children and create frameworks for inclusion, play, well-being and learning
• is relationally strong and can support children’s development and attachment
• is professionally well-founded and curious about their own and others’ practice
• sees play, relationships and communities as central in the pedagogical work and wants to be playful together with the children, follow their initiatives and stay in the play
• works from the child’s perspective “Children do the best they can” and is willing to adjust their own practice when children do not succeed
• dare to ask questions, share perspectives and both give and receive professional feedback
• communicates clearly and respectfully – even when something is difficult
• takes responsibility for both own and shared practice and contributes actively to the community.
