Educator or Pedagogical Assistant for Kildebo Respite Care Service

About the job

Kildebo is a respite service for children and young people living at home aged 6 – 23 years with variable developmental disorders.

The position is 30-37 hours per week and is on every other weekend in odd weeks (from 2027 in even weeks) with day, evening and night shifts as well as night shifts and meeting days on weekdays. Since the position contains most night shifts, in a full-time role there will be approximately 40 days off in a 12-week plan, of which two times there will be six days off in a row.

We are looking for a colleague who

• has the desire and ability to plan, initiate and be present in relationships and activities and who can also handle that today’s plans may change if the children cannot accommodate the planned activities
• can both see the value in the close relationship to the individual child as well as the community in a group of children and who can meet them with clarity, presence and heart
• has experience with or an interest in neuropedagogy and a reflective approach to relationships, so the child is met in its nervous system and the employee takes responsibility for the relationship
• has an overview, independence and the courage to pursue what is important while respecting and supporting your colleagues’ perspectives.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary follows the collective agreement rules and the expected salary range is 23,000 - 39,000 DKK depending on educational background and experience.
