Educator sought for a safe and structured 2:1 one-person project

NK Care seeks a professionally strong and caring pedagogue for a temporary 2:1 project around a young woman with significant and lasting reduced function (developmental disability).

The position starts on 1 November , and you will become part of a fixed and dedicated team that will ensure the woman a safe and predictable everyday life in an important transition phase.

About the task and the framework

The citizen is a young woman who needs help, guidance and full support for all daily tasks, including personal care and support.

• The woman currently lives temporarily in an apartment on a currently vacant ward at a local elderly care center.

Working hours and shifts

The position involves 12-hour shifts , and there is staffing for the task around the clock, every day of the week.

Shifts are distributed as

• Day/evening shifts: 07.00 – 19.00
• Night shifts: 19.00 – 07.00

Who are you?

We are looking for a colleague who can remain calm and maintain the pedagogical overview – also when the task requires extra patience. We imagine that you:

• Are a trained pedagogue and preferably have experience with single-person projects or citizens with similar support needs.
• Are , and able to create conditions characterized by safety, structure and low-arousal pedagogy.
• Are reliable and thrive on working in long, consecutive shifts.
