Educator sought for after-school program

We are seeking a pedagogue for 32 hours for our after-school program (SFO), where you get the opportunity to put your stamp on everyday life and help develop activities and communities for the children.

As a pedagogue with us you will have a central role in the children’s daily life .

We are looking for pedagogy professionals who do not wait for someone else to set the direction – but who want to help shape it.

You should be willing to

• take responsibility in everyday life
• lead in planning and implementing activities
• create structure, overview and recognizability for the children
• have an eye for both the sense of community and the individual child
• have hours in both SFO and support hours in a 3rd grade

The work includes both opening and closing shifts in the SFO.

Performance-releasing pedagogy

In Ringsted Municipality there is currently a focus on performance-releasing pedagogy in the SFOs. This focus is also a part of our pedagogical work. We aim to create leisure-time communities where children experience participation opportunities, curiosity and the courage to try things out without unnecessary performance pressure.

We are particularly looking for you who…

• have a clear pedagogical stance and dare to take leadership in practice
• have a view of the whole group – including those who easily blend into the background
• can plan, adjust and follow up on activities and initiatives
• work in an appreciating and relationship-strong way with children
• have experience with – or interest in – inclusion and children with different needs
• thrive in close and committed team collaboration
• can create calm, direction and common ground in daily life
• would be happy to have experience with children in the early years of school

And yes – humor, overview and the ability to stay calm , when there are many balls in the air, definitely count as competencies here.
