About Arnbjerg Børnehus

Arnbjerg Børnehus is a municipal, integrated children’s house with both a nursery and a kindergarten. We are located in scenic surroundings close to forest and fields, and nature is an active part of our pedagogical practice. Here we create spaces for children's joy of nature, curiosity and desire to explore.

The nursery houses 48 children distributed across four mixed-age rooms with 12 children in each room. We have close collaboration across rooms and areas of expertise, so together we can create the best framework for children's well-being, development, learning and participation in the community.

Our pedagogical values

We are part of Viborg Municipality's concept 'We Learn Together', where we focus on linguistic, mathematical and executive functions, which are important for children's well-being and development. In addition, we work with joint practice and collaborative development of day care. This means that we develop our pedagogy close to practice through shared reflection, curiosity and knowledge sharing.

We expect that you

• have knowledge of and preferably experience with 0-3-year-old children's development
• work affirmatively and can create participation opportunities for all children
• take responsibility, show initiative and actively contribute to the community
• prioritize a close and trustful collaboration with the parents
• can remain calm and maintain overview in a daily life that is sometimes unpredictable
• want to develop professionally and share your knowledge with colleagues
• preferably have knowledge of Marte Meo, but it is not a requirement

Salary and employment terms

Salary is set on the basis of the applicable collective agreement and a concrete assessment of your education, your documented work experience and your professional and personal qualifications. Before employment and signing of the salary agreement you have the opportunity to receive information about the starting salary in the specific position. Viborg Municipality uses objective and gender-neutral criteria for salary setting in accordance with the rules on equal pay for equal work or work of equal value, and in accordance with the relevant collective agreement.
